Vicar Street Dublin 29 August 2006 DVD
Here's some clips from the VICAR STREET DUBLIN 29 AUGUST 2006 gig:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkq4kSHF1zo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YmzD2gu74Q I am looking for other recordings from that night (audio/video) or the 30th show and I'd really like to trade for some Electric Picnic audio/video - if you have any and would like to trade, get in touch. The video footage I recorded is superb sound and DVD quality (the picture is amazing and will be supplied on DVD [your required region]). Last edited by theboxer; 10-26-2006 at 08:16 AM. |

With the amount of people who were apparently videotaping, would it be at all possible to combine the best audio recording with the various video recordings to make something like a collage? I saw it done pretty well with bootleg video on the Led Zeppelin DVD, it's far more interseting to watch then just having one angle on it. Something like that would really be worth going to the trouble of trading for an awful lot of people who might not have otherwise done it. So far though, I've seen video from three or four different sources. What would you guys think of something like that?

That's a crackin' idea. If I manage to get some different angles/recordings, I'll do that! The video and sound turned out awful on youtube, the original source is amazing quality. The three pictures accompanying the original post I made are video captures from the video, so it gives you a good idea how clear the footage is, apart from the odd head gettin' in the way.

Antony said that he had a really good sound recording of the second night, and a 90% complete recording of the first night, if those one's are better then the one's you have I'm sure you could use them, the recording of Yoshimi that he put up was pretty damn good. The big problem would be trying to find and convince everyone to send you a clone of their master. Even if it's just from a phone it would be worth it for a few seconds, y'know, just to get some diversity.

I've just up-dated the links - my original account was closed down, but I've made a new one and re-up-loaded them, so the vid's are back on-line!
