I reckon (and hope) there'll be more to come, maybe a date in Galway and one in Kilkenny or some other godforsaken county!

Do you guys REALLY prefer seated concerts????? I've never been to a seated concert in my life! (except for classical music of course) Maybe it's different in France, I don't know. PS: hope I'm not too much off topic!

I think I would prefer a seated concert when it comes to Damien Rice, also I'm kinda short so it really suits me better if its seated! And no Patricia I don't think ur too far off the topic at all!!

There must be something in the water that everyone from Limerick is small!!
Yeah Patricia, i think the seated gig works better for the type of show Mr. Rice & Co gives. The intimate atmosphere inhances the experience of Damo's music. There's not many artisits/bands i can think of that do, as much as Damo's anyway!! Haha, that coming from a bloke who's only seen him twice, and both times at Witnness!! (cos i missed out on Vicar St tickets last time) But still........</font>

I live in Belfast and I really hope he has adate here, but I can only see the two Dublin dates posted on the official site as far as Irish dates go. I would go to Dublin to see him, but none of my mates have any interest in him, and Dublin's a bit of a long hawl, Belfast and I could persuade them, but Dublin'd be pushing it. He seems to sell out rather rapidly too, so I'm not liking my chances

mmm the 2nd night would probably suit me better (getting off work and all that) but i think id prefer seating....my knee's tended to go a small bit weak last time i Damo....so the seat was handy

fair enough...you weren't really off topic, I just thought you were a bit rude to Me and Kitten when we were talking about why there was no dates around the country and
you said this to us... Quote:

Well I apologise if I came across like that, it wasn't my intention at all, I was actually just panicking bout the concert, I didn't mean for it to come across like that at all. Sorry!

no worries, I probably should have given you the benefit of the doubt...I was in a similar panic for the december gig....should be no problem as the only people that will be ready at 9 am or whatever to get them is the people on here. i'd recommend the seating for vicar street. the tables near the stage are class and although you generally lose atmosphere when seating...it didn't happen in the december gig. it's nice to be able to appreciate the gig without some 6ft 3inch head blocking your way. and 2h 45m is long time to be standing !!
