okay guys i know that there are a lot of extremely disappointed people out there but please do not resort to buying tickets from touts or bastards selling tickets on message boards....make the f**kers sweat then get your tickets just as the show starts....touts will get desparate as the show kicks of and you should be able to get the tickets at face value.....Touts are the scum of the earth, please do not support them and allow them to feed their spawn, so that they can grow up to be robbing bastards as well [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img] [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]

Just in case anyone is wondering, I'm not going to the show not because I don't have a ticket but rather that I won't be in the country.....I just hate touts and people who sell tickets for above face value....it disgusts me....okay i think my rant is over

Definitly--i gave in to weakness a while ago and thought about it, but the bottom line is---touts are scum, people who don't love or appreciate music and try to exploit those that do. And none of them are snappy dressers and they all look the same!!

In seriousness, if i ever do get to see Damien Rice live, i want it to be on my own fair, legitimate terms-not those of a dirty rotten scumbag, who really should be more worried about explaining why his sisters baby bears more than a passing resemblance to him!!

There is some jerk over on the official damien rice forum who bought 10 tickets and is trying to sell them for €60 each!! pure daylight robbery! The foolish boy however put his mobile phone number on it too, someone will be getting abusive phonecalls i'd imagine!![img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

Afetr a plea on this very board one of Damien's Street Team sold me a ticket for the gig in King Tuts, Glasgowat face value, after walking past 5 or 6 guys offering upwards of £40. Reassured my belief in human kindness and decency.

Only one ticket though - which I gave to my girly since she introduced me to DR - Aw shucks [img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img][img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img][img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

Touts are scum, some fans are just as bad though.

then someone on the frames site is a horrible c**t... take example from the wonderful fans of radiohead... who didn't give in... and had scalpers giving tickets away free after two songs into the set... let the message go forth, if no-one gives into these sh*ts then this will NEVER EVER happen again (in ireland).

I would never, out of principle, buy anything from a tout. I really don't like what they do. If i had a spare ticket, i would sell it at face value, without any booking fee charge also.

Well, i mean if i payed a booking fee and then couldn't go, i'd sell the tickets at the price without the booking fee. It just makes sense to me, that's all.
