Default Damien Rice Pre- O CD VERY RARE ?

I just found this CD on ebay and I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of it? Have you heard of the song "My Lovely One"?
I'm thinking about biding, but I'm not sure...it would be really exspensive to have it shipped to Germany.

It's not an official release... and he seems to be selling quite a few bootlegs of Damien...

He's even selling the Cork Lobby CD!!! This is so fake, if you check his other items for sale, he always uses the same description, bought from a man a year ago or similar, and it's always home-made covers (by him) and some songs he got from torrents...

I'm surprised he has a good feedback...

fake fake fake...

take a look at the lobby cork cd he is selling..

http://cgi.ebay.com/Damien-Rice-Live...QQcmdZViewItem

The CD case gives it away. It is one of the slim cd cases that comes with burnable CD's. He has definitely been burning cd's and selling them.

Now if u look at the item u are looking at... lets look at those pictures of the "cd case"

look closely at the rim of "cd case"... it's laminated... it doesn't even look like a case it looks like one piece of paper been flipped over... it might even be one of this thin floppy plastic cases...

if u look at the picture and the cases, u can find any of those pictures on the internet... he has edited them, and burned cd's and used them as if they were real.

I'm an ebayer as well, and i'm reporting this mofo

If I'm not mistaken, Damien said he'll never release a cd in a jewel case. Thus all his singles, ep, and lp are always in cardstock sleaves/cases.

Could it be "Where do you go to pretend"? I think the words "lovely one" are in the lyrics...

and
an acoustic set from dublin singer/songwriter terry sutton

only approx. 100 tickets remaining

press release for the show:

damien rice previews, for the first time, the completed works of his forthcoming
debut album "o", with a show like never before

the concert is an experimental combination of theatre & karaoke where each song has it's own setting on stage

the idea is to bring the audience to and through the moment in which the song was

this is a one-off and very different to rice's usual live shows
it is a special night night in celebration

for intimacy, the venue will have it's tiered, theatre seats in place

thankyou

Yeah that isn't an official release... "My Lovely one" however is a song I've heard played once live before, years ago... can't remember anything about it really except that it was really really good. Would love to hear it again.

I didn't buy it, because it was to expesive with the shipping and everything and I wasn't sure if it's real or not.
If the song "My Lovely One" really exists, I would love to hear it too...

He did say that once, but he has released singles (9 Crimes and Rootless Tree at least) and even a version of O in jewel cases. He doesn't have complete control over the packaging at all times.

I think this seller's stuff is fake, but not because of "lamination" - sometimes CD shop owners put cardstock CDs in plastic sleeves to protect them from damage.

I think he really fooled everyone with the jewel cases. All the singles in Ireland have been cardboard but in the UK they've been using jewel cases since day one.
