Default Cover

I just looked on Amazon.co.uk (I pre-ordered the album a few days ago from their site) and they have the cover! It's not the one on Road Records.

That's awful.

Now this is an album cover:

Default 8

The windows in the car, in the botton of the image, make an 8.... right??

Very cool.

It kind of reminds me of joni mitchell's cover for CSNY's So Far. Now I have that album in front of me and I can't really say for sure why.

But it continues the excitment.

the boy in the middle, well his pink hair looks like an elephant. the head would be on our left.

That's the first thing I noticed too - even before the numbers.

Great cover.

I really like that actually. It looked a bit too gaerish at first but it's clever

Doesn't the cover look a lot like Damien's (in)famous patchwork shirt?

I can see four brown elephants at the top actually. And a cat by the car at the bottom.

Do you guys see the plane? Remember the beginning of that new song: "This would not have happened if I hadn't missed my plane"? Might it be on the album as a hidden track? :P

I love the artwork. Colorful this time, yet still minimalistic. Counting down the days now =)

to be honest, when i first saw this i hated it. i liked it after viewing it a second time, but the first time it was far too complicated for me to be put with damo. i don't know why, but when i think damien and i'm listening to or playing damien i just think of everything extremly simple. i guess that is why it threw me off, but then i found it very intresting after giving a good look.

and to the one who said people are looking FAR to into it... why would you not want to look at it and realize how intresting it is?

Damien strikes me as someone that is fairly complicated...that's not a bad thing at all though. I may be wrong, I don't know.

I think the album cover is great, like a reflection of his life since 'O'. The elephant on the head is brilliant...elephant's never forget.

Oh for gods sake, It's just a squiggle that may or not be a plane.. This is what I mean by reading far too much into it... It's pretty, but it's just a load of pictures. That's it.

I have a much higher quality copy of the cover, but the website I up-loaded it to downsized it, but it's still bigger and better quality.

I wonder if there'll be a CD 2 to the album?

Is it a little man/woman with a parachute under the plane?
If so that's my new favourite bit.

I hated this when I saw it this morning, now I love it.
