Is this an accurate description of damien?

In my mind, the music, the cds, just are so perfect. The whole band is better than the sum of its parts.

And when listening to the music, I get this image of a cold grey coast, a cliff, basically whats shown in the Blowers Daughter video. But the imagery is changed, its my own local coast. And images of my childhood.

Basically, i think Damien's music is fantastic. And its amazing to listen to music, with so much passion and emotion, especially given the other choices of music on the radio currently ie crap, watered down stuff void of emotion.

But I dont think of sunny, clear, blue skys, and care free troubles.

So all in all, I do think its an accurate title. In that for me, his music conjures up images of dark, cloudy rainy days spent at the coast.

melancholy is beautiful if felt the way i do...listen to Damien Rice

but indeed, most of Damien's songs are sad. Sometimes with a silver lining..."till I find somebody new"
