Hey everyone,

Check out gemma hayes...for those of you who already know her, good. For those that don't...she's a singer songwriter just like damo and she also comes from ireland like damo and she's really talented like damo and she's very pretty ("like damo"-from all the lasses).

Yay, Gemma Hayes is great - I love her cd. Saw her live back in June ( on my 21st birthday ), good show. Now, if only I could get ahold of some show recordings...

I have Night On My Side. I adore it. I heard she's working on some new songs too, which is wonderful news.

hey michelle aka nightingale...youre also a Mayer fan, I like your quote, yea you can never find the perfect rhyme for heavier things...where did you see Gemma? and do you know if she's coming back state side...I wanna check her out since i just recently bought her CD (fantastic). Also if you're ever in the NY area some time Nov. 22, check out Robert Randolph and the family band @ Roseland...here's another musician for your acumen.

Chris,

I saw Gemma at this little club in West Hollywood called The Troubadour ( great place to see shows if you're in the L.A. area, btw ) Was a bit random really - I was looking for a show to go to on my birthday, and hers seemed like to best one. I went, hada good time, and bought "Night On My Side" soon after - she really is a great musician.

Don't know when she's planning on touring here again though - which is a shame, since I would bein aposition to make sure any SoCal shows would be taped - guess we'll have to wait and see...

And yes, I'm a big Mayer fan as well, but that's another story...

Gemma will be interviewed by Dave Fanning on this weeks last broadcast on network 2.

I think it'll probably be one of those prerecorded ones done at Witnness. Anyonesee the Wane Coyne one last week? funny.

Aww, thank you so much!

"How'd did you get to meet Jason Mraz?!?!"

Just hung around outside the venue after the show ( with a little help from a friend or two in the inside, wink ) - however, this was back in May when it was easier to meet him after a performance. ( tried in July and August with no success ) However, I'm seeing him twice next Friday and Sunday after that, so we shall see, lol...
