yeah it was very different from when the frames played there in December......the clapping virus didn't spread as much and most people were relatively quiet, except for the few idiots who wanted to make themselves known...........and yeah Angel at my Table, was superb

by the way Ali, where were you sitting?? I was on the left side of stage....row m, kinda towards the back....there were these five girls sitting at the end of our row and one of them got really pissed off that we got up to go to the bar during the interval....now that was weird.....twasn't like we upped and left during the gig, but during the break......we were going to try and piss her off by all seven of us getting up and walking out just as Glen came on stage but revenge isn't worth missingh Mr.Hansard

Ah the classic "Glen pic with a fan" pose. One of these days I'll see him with someone taller and he won't be able to do it.

haha...meanie! i love that picture, but i'm a total glen-obsessive (if
you hadn't noticed...) (i think if you haven't noticed you must have
been in a cave on mars with your fingers in your ears and your eyes
gouged out) so it's like "oh my god oh my god oh my god, he has his arm
around me!!!!!"

I'm too lazy to start my own thread but i saw Glen in Dolans and he just gets better and better, hes so talented and hilarious,i laughed realy loud at one stage and then the whole place laughed at me oh the shame! He told the usual stories bout Andrea Corr, the neighbour goth girl and his dad being a taxi driver in dublin. He had to go to the doctor that day after hours so dedicated a song to him, while he was there he asked glen for his autograph for his daughter, turned out the daughter was in the crowd.During the encore he played cry me a river (where he pointed out a guy i was with who was headbanging to JT and wearing a rory gallagher t-shirt,classic!), Limerick Town (??) and Raglan Road (which if rory was alive today should be playing according to Glen).Oh and he ripped the piss outta limerick for a while which is always good "you know limerick is the worst town in ireland??I mean its worse than Ballymon.." just saw Glen yesterday and it was the best gig i've been to...i don't
know how much different his gigs in Czech republic and here in Slovakia
are from what he does in Ireland but it was just amazing...he played
for almost three hours and came back on stage about four or five
times..everything he played was brilliant, but the highlights were Star
Star, Revelate, Falling Slowly, Angel At My Table, Hey Day, Cry Me A
River...well, too many to name..plus i got to talk to him for a minute
after the gig, he's a great guy indeed....great night
