I was thinking I could get a few German foodie type goodies to take along for Henders- does anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps Christian (Dramaking) would be a good person to give advice!

As I was telling Hannah the other day, Hendrik's English is amazing! He did have to cope with my nasally kiwi accent and did very well. In fact, I think he speaks better English than I do [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

Just an update for you all- went out for a few quiet drinks to Hendrik's local pubs last night, and he says a huge HELLO to you all.

He has internet access athis local library, so he does pop in to the igloo,and you can PM him now!

Hendrik has read all your messages on here as well and very much appreciated them[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

He is a real sweetheart and looked very happy with his new life in England [img]smileys/smiley32.gif[/img]

I took him some happy flowers to brighten up his new room, but my husband said Hendrik's flatmates were peeing themselves laughing at that (sorry Henders[img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img]) Hmmph, who said men can't enjoy flowers too [img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

Hendrik really likes his flat-mates and has made some good friends out of them, which is brilliant.

Was really great to meet him, I think he is going to like it over here! Pretty soon I am sure he will have a Brummy accent [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

Happy? No, I don't feel happy, not at all sadly. And it has nothing to do with the settling. You can't just escape from your problems, I knew that, I'm not naive, it's always haunting ye. I could get manage to go to the GP, he will try and arrange something with a "very good, but busy psychologist" at the hospital where I work...we'll see. What have I become? I swallow Prozac since Wednesday...feckin happy pills, chemical crap, and I'm just 20. [img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]

It's a devastating feeling when you realize, that everything you try to breathe again, to *live* again is gonna be destroyed. Every day is horrible, when you feel crappy inside.
