the first line of the 'beautiful' song sorta annoys me... 'my life is brilliant' just not appropriate at the moment! but yeah- just heard that song again and appart from the intro i quite like it.

i like the single
but it is being played a bit oo much also i heard another song in the record store the other day and obviously his voice is a bit different but the song/voice was kinda offputting or something hard to explain |

To each, their own...
If someone hates James Blunt's music and loves Rufus or Anthony and Johnsons, they are perfectly entitled to their opinion and nobody can say they are wrong. That's why thankfully, there are so many artists out there, everyone has different tastes and sometimes those tastes cross over (damo) and sometimes they don't. I don't even know what Blunt looks like, but his album is good and is much more than simply 'You're Beautiful'... the guy is a good musician and songwriter and his lyrics and melodies work for me.
