the first line of the 'beautiful' song sorta annoys me... 'my life is brilliant' just not appropriate at the moment! but yeah- just heard that song again and appart from the intro i quite like it.

I'd rather listen to blunt than Rufus Wainright or Anthony & the Johnsons... urrgghh!!! Now that is arty farty, look how clever I am... pap!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Anthony & the Johnsons rule! That dudes got an amazing voice, and the musac is so lovely. first time i heard him my ears pricked up in wonder, i really haven't heard much else like it before. but i don't really know rufus wainright.

And as for james blunt, not irritating, but not really interesting either. i'll just leave him to his thing, it does me not harm. If he can make a couple of dollar from looking pretty and singing couple of songs. so beit.

this just goes to show how if one person makes music, there will always be someone who likes it.. haven't heard this james blunt character myself so i can't comment...

To each, their own...

If someone hates James Blunt's music and loves Rufus or Anthony and Johnsons, they are perfectly entitled to their opinion and nobody can say they are wrong.

That's why thankfully, there are so many artists out there, everyone has different tastes and sometimes those tastes cross over (damo) and sometimes they don't.

I don't even know what Blunt looks like, but his album is good and is much more than simply 'You're Beautiful'... the guy is a good musician and songwriter and his lyrics and melodies work for me.
