tonite's True Blood epi is called... 9 crimes!!
Just noticed that tonight's episode of True Blood (Season 3 Epi 4) is called... 9 crimes!!!!!!!!
wonder if the title is Damien-inspired? I'd say that 9 crimes is not a normal expression in English, right? maybe the song is featured? Hope someone in the US can watch & tell us... myself, I have to wait til tomorrow, download it & watch it

just watched!!! amazing!!!!
I'm always surprised at how all these US shows seem to know Damien's music... to the point of naming an epi after a Damien song... and then use an alt-version that is not super well known... next epi is called Trouble, maybe Ray Lamontagne-based??

that's so weird. I would never have related True Blood and a Damien song. that show is pretty popular so I guess it's a great publicity

The 9 crimes demo is a hidden track. When 9crimes track 1 starts press rew and its before the piano version.

Not the best True blood epi ever, but yeah, I always prefered this version of the song.

Last night's Epi was called Trouble, and they played a song called that, but not Ray's song. Still a good episode.

I realize I'm over 4 years late to this thread but the wife and I just finally got around to watching the whole series the past few weeks. Had no idea ahead of time that Damo was featured like this so I came back here to report on it and sure enough...
BTW, if anyone has stayed away thinking it was a soap opera (which is certainly how it was always marketed) I'm here to say: watch this show! It's smart, witty, loaded with action/ suspense, twists and brilliant characters who grow in fantastic, unexpected ways all perfectly cast with some truly genius actors. We just can't get through it fast enough.

what I still find amazing is that they used the demo version instead of the album version!

True Blood went downhill right around season 4 if I remember correctly. Maaaaybe season 5. I was obsessed with it for the first few seasons (even got on set to see it being filmed) and then it really just got too crazy for me. What I loved about it from the beginning was being so rooted in reality with this tinge of fantastical, and then the dynamic shifted more and more to that extreme and became to unbelievable.

I think people split into two categories. Zombie drama or Vampire drama. I'm the former.

I also liked it very much in the beginning, but then went downhill and the last two seasons were unwatchable, think I didnīt even finish watching the last season, they should have stopped after season 4 or 5

Yeah I stopped watching somewhere in season 5. So unfortunate. I really was WILD about that show at the beginning. It just went on too long.

Totally agree. I couldn't watch the last 2 seasons. Awful.

So do I! Even though I only started watching lost in late 2010, when it was already over. By the way, that's how I found out about Damo, which makes it even more special to me! |

OK. I think you guys are on crack. Season 4 was the best by far and season 5 was still friggin' awesome!
I admit that having just gotten through 6 that it wasn't as fun as the earlier ones but in no way was it bad and certainly not unwatchable. It just decided to get more serious and paralleled two of humanity's darkest eras of hatred from this past century. We haven't started the final season yet but I suspect the biggest issue (if it does truly end up that awful) has to do with the popular trend HBO first began with "Sopranos" rather than having a last full season they try to get two shorter ones out of the creators to keep their cash cow going and that can cause things to sometimes feel needlessly dragged out (although I didn't feel that way at all since I always understood it was never really a mafia show). As for zombie shows, I only know of one but think both it and GOT are possibly the most overrated TV series of all time. Neither of them even got really good until the past year.
