Default How much are your tickets?

hey guys, i was just wondering how much the tickets were for the shows in your cities?

Mine is playing (i live in seattle) at Chateau Ste Michelle which is a winery and has an outdoor amphithetre (which is beautiful). The tickets were 49.95 plus two dollar service charge for general admissions, and 79.90 for reserved seating!!!

Was just wondering, cuz my city seems to want me broke.

(by the way this isnt my first post, i was on the previous forums but i couldnt keep my sn Seattlefan)

i don't know. Does anyone know where the tickets for Indy or Chicago are being sold? There's nothing on Ticketmaster

hmmm, Atlanta tickets are $27.84-$74.28

...wait, now i'm really confused. The Atlanta date is on the ticketmaster website as "Fiona Apple and Damien Rice," but it's not on damienrice.com. The Indiana and Chicago dates are on damienrice.com, but not Ticketmaster. I'm tempted to buy the Atlanta tix, but i don't want to end up going to one of the shows that Damo's not playing

Oh, and welcome back BrandonC, or Seattlefan, or whoever you really are

Well, your venue sounds really cool BrandonC. I too was kind of surprised by the steep price of tickets, though I would pay anything to see Damien. But does Fiona carry that much weight when it comes to prices?

Cneill, I am also wondering about those Indy and Chicago tickets! Chicago's is not even on the venue page last time I checked, but the one in Indy is on the venue page http://www.verizonwirelessmusiccenter.com/main.html and says they are on sale May 13th

Tickets are ridiculously expensive this time out - even for the one solo Damien show which are more than $50 apiece when you count service charges. I don't think I've ever paid more than $30 or $35 apiece for Damien tickets. The Fiona/Damien tickets are even more expensive - mine range between $75 and $80 apiece for good seats. blah.

Thanks for the welcome back.

Yea it sucks to practically pay 50 + to see damien when it isnt considered a double headliner (i dont think?) so in other words he'll play for relatively short and it will be terribly hard to welcome him back for an encore (if possible at all...)

I heard rumors of him playing a solo US tour next year in the spring? If thats true i might just save my money for that..

PS to damien - We are your true fans, give us some discounts homie!

Edit - ESPECIALLY if lisa isnt going to be there (front page, band member list) they ticket prices should drop dramatically... What is I remember without Lisa? Theyre not going to play it at all??? whats going on? Even when she is just sitting there on stage, adds something to each song.

that's an awesome venue.. i remember seeing a michael hedges gig that was taped there.. if i were going to that one i'd rather be on the lawn!

tix for northrup auditorium at u of minnesota are going for $43-58

i'm still trying to get used to the idea of seeing damien in an auditorium...

"Was just wondering, cuz my city seems to want me broke."
I have to agree!!! my city too I'm going to one at jones beach ! and my god my 39 dollar tickets turned into 52$ with all the handeling charges ect! But it'll be worth it :-D I'm just happy I got a ticket. Lol I was taking the SAT when they went on sale, so I laid out two differnt numbers and three differnet websites for my dad to order them. I was soo afraid of not getting tickets!! Ha I was like sitting in the middle of the math section being like Damien Rice ticekts on sale! porbably not a good thing but you guys understand :-D

Is anyone going to see him in NYC?...the tickets are going for $50. I wasn't thinking of going, but I've changed my mind...SO, now I guess I'm going.

it's weird how the show dates aren't all listed, and they don't sync up with the website dates or info on the venue sites.. the last thing northrup auditorium has listed in their event calendar is the twin cities gay mens chorus presenting "25 years of gay pride"...

i just looked at my ticket stub from 2004 tour and i paid $16.50 for a ticket to see damien and the frames

the wonderful ticketmaster employees must have left a zero off of the three, the verizon wireless music center lists pricing as "$39.50 & $29.50: pavilion." is this a pavilion-only show?

Whoa, muskoxen, is the Chicago gig really that expensive? I haven't been able to find any info on that gig at all, though i haven't checked today. okay, now I just did. Where are you finding your info? And also, how is the Charter One Pavilion in Chicago? (I hate all these corporate named venues)

I ordered my tickets for Boston today and they were $54 (including a lovely $9 "convenience fee").

Row 9!

con·ven·ience:

1. The quality of being suitable to one's comfort, purposes, or needs: the convenience of living near shops, schools, and libraries.

The convenience of being able to fork over money for a ticket

got mine today too! row 7

damien and fiona are listed on the venue homepage now.. it looks more like a performing arts theater than a huge auditorium, which seats about 4500 or something i think.. it's an older historical venue and looks pretty posh actually.. wonder if i should dress in formal attire
