Roll on 2005....new Damien album, new Stereophonics album, new Counting Crows album (hopefully!), new Bell X1 album, new Turin Brakes album, new Gemma Hayes album (I think?) and most probably tours by all of the above!! And that's just off the top of my head. What's everybody else looking forward to ?

New albums by, Damien (of course...and hopefully the proposed dvd too), Weezer, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Queens of the stoneage, Bell X1...blah blah...and YES tours and maybe DVDs by all of them too ...Hopefully Amazing Grace, the Jeff Buckley doc will be released on DVD too Also hopefully Pearl Jam do play Slane I'd buy tickets for that NOW :P And hopefully Frames will play here more often than they do because their die hard Irish fans come and take all of the tickets quickly not giving me enough time to save up...nobody plays Newcastle so I have to save for travel costs too ...So come on Glen ;P Oh and for my band Rufus Prime to be BIG ;P

i just read about the soundtrack for the video game stubbs the zombie in "rebel without a pulse" due out in the summer of 2005: 01 Ben Kweller: "Lollipop" 02 The Raveonettes: "My Boyfriend's Back" 03 Death Cab for Cutie: "Earth Angel" 04 Rogue Wave: "Every Day" 05 Cake: "Strangers in the Night" 06 The Walkmen: "There Goes My Baby" 07 Dandy Warhols: "All I Have to Do Is Dream" 08 Oranger: "Mr. Sandman" 09 The Flaming Lips: "If I Only Had a Brain" 10 Clem Snide: "Tears On My Pillow" 11 Rose Hill Drive: "Shakin' All Over" 12 Milton Mapes: "Lonesome Town" 13 Phantom Planet: "The Living Dead" (non-cover, but zombie-themed song) so many of those songs remind me strongly of spending time with my grandpa when i was little. plus, i imagine the coverswill be good for a few laughs. should be solid.

I´m looking forward to new albums from Damo, Sigur Rós and hopefully Radiohead, but I´m not so sure about that one. Oh well... I think it´s gonna be an awesome year for music, unlike the last one..
