Default 5 leaves left (nick drake)

oh my! on campus we have these cd listening things that we go and listen to ...cd's. we listened to 5 leaves left. wow. just incredible. his melodies got a little similar but...some great stuff.

he was a bit depressing, but thats not a bad thing. thing is i don't really remember it...its not too incredibly melodic. different melodies and good...just not chorusy.

i really really liked "time has told me"

anyways....if you haven't heard nick drake by now...GO! find him somewhere! and listen. (a cd of course) or if someone has it that would like to share??

btw...where does the money that i buy a dead person's cd go? if its just to a company...meh..i feel like stealing it...

It goes to his estate, he died young and unmarried so it probably would have gone to his parents, if they have passed away since then they would specify who gets Nick's royalties.

I can't believe I missed this thread, I love Nick Drake! It's hard to imagine how he slipped through the net and was pretty much unknown during his lifetime.

His sister is still alive, so perhaps it goes to her?
