anyone else fallen in love with the new ryan adams album? so delicate and full of emotion. ive soooooo been looking forward to 'night birds' and 'elizabeth, you were born to play to the part' for, like, a year now. and neither is a letdown.

i really love that album too. i think it's far better than jcn.
my favourite songs are blue sky blues, starlite diner and elizabeth....

Same here, I think its great. Wasn't a big fan of JCN really.

Yep, he redeemed himself from Jacksonville, although I can't really hold the two über(alt-)country releases against him, 'cause you know what they say: you can take the boy out of the country...

someone over on the ryan adams board thinks that the ending to 'elizabeth' sounds like damien's 'cannonball.' i can vaguely see where he's coming from, but i listen to damien way to much to hear much of a resemblance!
