which TV shows do you watch?
What are your fav TV shows? Which ones do you follow and watch every week?
My #1 is Lost. Absolutely addicted!!!! Can't believe we still have to wait til Feb. The season 3 finale must be the best tv episode ever!!!! I still haven't recovered from the flash forward shock!!!!!!! I also like Grey's Anatomy a lot. I'm kinda in love with Meredith And I like the music they use too!!! There's hope they're gonna use Accidental Babies soon!!!!!! I also follow Heroes and I like it, don't love it. Same with Prison Break... I also watch Desperate Housewives, lol... And many weeks I watch House but not that crazy about it. I skip some episodes sometimes... Ok, basically I WATCH THEM ALL What about you all???????? |

the wire is my current favorite. it's like reading a satisfying, complex novel. the last season starts in january and i'll be sad to see it end.
house is a must. i love hugh laurie and the best bits of the show are the interactions between house and wilson. other than that, i usually get sucked into the competition shows on bravo - top chef currently, project runway next. i went without tv for the last year of grad school, so i've fallen out of touch with most of what's on the networks.

My "absolutely cannot miss" shows are... hmm... not that many, actually: The Office and Boston Legal. Oh and probably Numb3rs because I'm slightly in love with David Krumholtz Oh and Scrubs!
I was so underwhelmed with a lot of the finales last year that I'm not really looking forward to this season (e.g. Grey's Anatomy, ER, even 24 wasn't all that great last year) Although... I can't wait for Pushing Daisies to start (ah, yet another actor-crush: Lee Pace )! The pilot that leaked was absolutely charming. Last edited by srahman24; 09-13-2007 at 04:32 AM. |

My new fave show is this:
Great cast - great come-back for David Duchovny (if he was ever away) and the two girls Madeleine Martin and Madeline Zima are amazing - and it's brilliantly written. Only minus is that the episodes are too short Am also checking out HBO's "Tell me you love me" - so far it seems pretty good, although I do feel it's a little too higher white middle class therapy relationshippy at times and the cast could maybe have been narrowed down a little, bit it has some qualities. So far I've only seen one episode so I don't know if I'll stick to it or not. Plus: There's plenty sex. Minus: I felt like some of the sex scenes were not really necessary for the drive of the episode; it was like they are saying "Hey-ho this is HBO we can show all the sex scenes we want and MORE, isn't it grand!" And I must confess - I am now watching LOST even though I trashed it before I gave it a chance and got caught up in it. So far I've seen the two first seasons and must admit it's addictive. There are some weaknesses about the show though, and I do sometimes feel I'm just being manipulated to watch it with all their mysteries and such. There BETTER be something good at the end of this show or I'll be a very bitter woman.. Am also watching the 4400, but that's mainly because my beloved roomie watches it. It looks like Heroes with a better idea but too low a budget. And of course Colbert and Daily Show, EXCEPT WHEN THEY'RE ON ONE OF THEIR 2355363 HOLIDAYS/YEAR!! It's like every other friggin week or something And am watching Freaks and Geeks again and am still loving that show. Good to see the cast members pop up here and there; Seth Rogen (saw his naked butt in Knocked Up recently, not bad!), Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini (yumm!), Martin Starr... That Judd Apatow dude seems to stick to his favourite actors and use them again and again, it's very sympathetic imo. OH OH - and Larry's back!! Now with more Ted Danson.. The latest episode was hilarious, mainly because of Susie, Jeff's wife in the series, that woman in so cute when she's angry...

Since we're reminiscing on old shows that we grew up with, I just have to say My So-Called Life was the BEST!!!
***sigh, watching it was, like, so....... painful, becuase it was just like ...... real. And it totally hurt to like, look at Jordan Catalano, because he was so like, beautiful.***** Seriously though, I totally wanted to be Ray-Anne. |

Dawson's Creek sucked. Dawson sucked. Joey sucked. Pacey sucked. Jen Lindley was it. God bless Michelle Williams. And then she died at the end...of course. Hendrik, Katie Holmes is 5'9" tall (at least according to IMDb). Unless you were expecting a sequoia tree of a woman?

The Office! It's the funniest show i have ever seen probably! i'm sooo addicted to it. I watched all of season 2 and 3 on the internet from a great site that u can watch ANY show, movie, music videos, anime and something else on (lol). it's just sooo good. It's got everything in that show.
24. GREAT show! super intense and super exciting. It gets my adrenaline going for sure. those are probably the 2 main shows that i really enjoy right now....

Can't wait til Lost is back next week!! Looks like it will be a 3-hour premiere, anyone know if that first hour is actual show or just a re-cap?
Other than Lost, I'm just watching House & Numb3rs now that the Heroes season is over. |
