Set List isnt it one of their best albums?/ (well... besides, dance the devil and fizzcaraldo.....) i cant seem to find old posts, im convinced i started a thread on this already.... i never thought that they'd be able to capture that live performance buzz in a cd..... but they did.... honest!

i think it does as it really captures them live and is totally spine tingling... plus if you were at the concerts in vicar street then its even better! Tiptoe make sure that u click "show all posts" cos some of them get lost after the month

Yeh the setlist really is amazing, the sound is excellent , listenin to it loud enough you'd think you're there. Seen a write up about it recently in "The Slate" it started somethin like.."If youre not quite sure how you feel aboutthe frames albums, their new new one should end any thoughts youve had that theyre any good...... etc etc blah blah blahsaying how terrible it sounds. that really annoyed me. its no wonder that paper is free. Doesnt "your Face" sound great on it? i love bob marleys redemption song, it fitted in nicely. |

The Slate never give good reviews... its not really in their interest to do so they just enjoy insulting all good musicians who have worked their ass off to make it in the business... but it does make good reading

Finnally got "Set List"!!! And its brilliant! Dont know what "The Slate" istalking about! That reminds me, did anyone catch the review that one of the Irish papers (or maybe it was the RTE Guide??)gave The Frames, Damien Rice and Gemma Hayes etc??(someone showed me it because they knew i was a fan of them all) Anyway......whoever wrote the article totally wrote them off and sl*gged the show they all did. Was it "Songs from a room" or something like that?

They wrote in the RTE Guide that if you have trouble trying to sleep at Witnness go to see Damien Rice and The Frames!!!!It was in the top 7 reasons to go to Witnness so I think it was meant to be a compliment but it makes no sense!Whoever wrote it has no idea what kind of music The Frames or even Damien do! <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley13.gif">
