Just got an email from Damien Rice.com confirming.

Damo - Wembley?

Mmmm. Mixed feelings about that one.

... not if he plays a rockier set maybe, which, in all likelihood will be the case. It could be quite a different DR experience.

Im not sure, but is there a wembley area and a wembley stadium as two seperate things. Im guessing the arena is much smaller than the stadium.

12,000 are we even serious? i mean, 12,000 seats are expected to be filled! honestly, I just don't hold that much faith in humankind to expect that so many could appreciate Damien's music. I'm so glad he plays at the Orpheum in LA venues make a big difference and I truly think that it will be difficult for him to be intimate in such a huge venue.

I was at his Orpheum gig in LA on Dec 8th and I was getting pissed at all the people talking! I can't imagine what it will be like with ten times the amount of people! :/
