coming in april??

hey everyone. i heard somewhere that some fans were waiting outside of his concert in upper darby at the tower theatre and he mentioned that we would be coming back (to america) in april. i haven't seen ansywhere that this is true and i was wondering does anyone know anything about this? if so let me know. i would appreciate this greatly. thanks so much

Well he's playing at Coachella in April... Nothing else has been announced yet. Just keep checking the news and gigs pages and you'll get the news as soon as it is announced.

We talked to him after the XPN radio show and he did say there would be a US tour in April. YAY!

yup...that was me, and he told us April sometime, so we'll just have to wait and see for sure but I'm pretty certain he's planning on it.

According to ticketmaster, there is a date for Damien Rice on the 25th of April in Seattle, WA at Benaroya Hall - S. Mark Taper Auditorium.

Hope the rest of the roll out soon.

Just saw it!!!!! Tickets are 40-50$ and go on sale on Feb 16 (next Fri) but there is a pre-sale on Feb 13. I didn't get it... it says:

So what do we read from that?? If he's playing Seattle, is this pointing to a much extensive tour in comparison with last Dec?? I think so...

My guess is that it will probably be a little more of an extensive tour. Probably with larger venues than before. I can only hope he doesn't do arena shows in the US as he will in Europe. It looks like he's done in the UK on 3/31/07, and Seattle starts the 4/25/07. So I'd guess the US tour would fall in between the months of April, May, and possibly June. It's hard totell since the next confirmed date is all the way in August.

Is anyone familiar with how Monqui does these presales? I subscribed to their email list so hopefully I'll get the password. I live in Portland but would not miss damo at benaroya for the world. I saw Pearl Jam there front row center and that venue is gorgeous!
