If you were to be trapped on a deserted island, and the coconuts on the island played music what three albums (name the artist)could you listen to until you were rescued a year and half later.

Three mix CD's that I'd make with my favorite songs by: 1) Jeff Buckley 2) Emmett Tinley 3) The Frames Wait....I already *am* on that island! <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley3.gif"> |

Well lets see.... it would have to be Damien Rice 'O' Thin Lizzy mix CD and Jeff Buckley 'Grace' but if we were allowed a 4th it have to be something a little rockier/funkier like Becks 'Odelay' or 'Midnight Vultures' (you know, so you canget down and boogy in the sand every now and again!)

Oh no there's no way I could do that- I'd have to mix up CD's with tracks by my favourite artists, both modern and classical: Aaliyah, Jeff Buckley, Christina Aguilera, Darius, Norah Jones, Muse and Damien Rice for the modern ones. Allegri, Berg,Gorecki, Janacek, Mozart, Rachmaninov, Ravel and Vivaldi on the classical front. I know I'm totally cheating but I'd go mad without stuff by all these people.

I knew I'd get slated for liking Darius. Smacks of snobbery to me. Try listening to some of it (especially B-sides and unreleased material)- you'd be pleasantly surprised if you dropped your prejudices for long enough.

Tom McRae songs to check out: from the debut album : bloodless, end of the world news, boy with the bubblegun, a and b song from 'just like blood': you only dissapear, walking 2 hawaii, kareoke soul. but saying this they are all good, these are just some of my favourites. you really should check him out if you like Damien Rice or anything similar...he's truly amazing
