def agree with you on the Magic Numbers' album- i got it the other day for my friend's b'day and sneaked quite a few listens in before i eventually gave it to her!
albums ppl haven't heard of- thats a tough one! but I have to add 'Beyond The Missouri Sky' by Charlie Haden & Pat Metheny - a gorgeous album with fantastic guitar playing (and piano i think..). It was the soundtrack to my studying in may & june..I could write more but you have to hear to understand my blatherings! Joni Mitchell-Blue we have it on record and just recently on CD-woohoo! Badly Brawn Boy- 'Hour of the Bewilderbeast'-- or even 'Have you fed the fish?' .. both are fab

There is a Swedish group called The Ark. They're amazing. I really recommend their album "In lust we trust".

Spoon - Kill the moonlight (probably one of the best albums ive ever bought.. track for track its unbelievable)
that jack johnson album is called "in between dreams" but i think "on and on" is a far better album of his personally

There is not one bad song on the album, And each of them varies from the one before but something grips them together, beit his voice, his technique, his lyrics, or just consistent excelence, and talent. Fooking spectacular. i always thought "O" by damien rice was quite good. heard of him?
