Default tori amos: the blower's daughter

tori amos did a cover of the blower's daughter recently. unfortunately i haven't found a mp3 of it yet, but you can download a short video clip of it here:
http://chasethetide.com/chicago_clips/
so at least you get an idea of how she played the song!

Currently, that appears to be the only recording (someone recorded it on their phone). There appears to have been an absence of tapers at the show

i don't like it, i think she 'torified' this one a bit too much. from what i can hear from this short clip that is.

does she have classical music training?

She has native american roots (indians), that's all I know, Cillster.

From what I heard it sounds interesting. But I do like her 'smells like teen spirit' cover!

so she's a red(-headed) indian then? (sorry for political incorrectness here, just fooling around)

i love a lot of her cover versions too; her 'smells like..' is brilliant indeed.

"She's a kind of midget."
"Ain't that a queen song?"
"Thin ice."
"Sorry, go on. You mean she's a dwarf?"
"No, a midget."
"Like there's a difference..."
"There is actually, Mister Politically Incorrect!"
(Max & Paddy's Road to nowhere)

Yeah, she is, who knows where she got that from. The neanderthals were the first who had red hair, I guess.
