Damien surprise opening act for Tina Dickow last night

So, according to Tina Dickow's Danish facebook page, Damien opened for her at a gig in Reykjavik, Iceland, last night

Haven't been able to find pics or videos of his gig though.

Is that Helgi Jonsson with Tina Dickow in the short video on the FB event?
(He's part of the band that played with Damien in the kaffibarinn.)

Yes, Helgi and Tina are married and recently had a baby together. They have been working with Damien and Joel in the last couple of years.

yeah, from Aarhus even. Calls herself Tina Dico internationally; don't know if that was such a great decision, guess some exec said the letter combination of D I C K wasn't great to have in an artist's name.

She has turned quite dull I'm afraid; I used to listen to her quite a lot, especially the album 'Notes' is pretty good, and I still quite like this song, despite the Danish potato pronouncation and boring subject matter:

By now though I hate some of her stuff. So safe and middle of the road, and some of her songs were on repeat on the phone playlist at work, which made me hate those songs forever. But she's ok I guess. I just wish she'd run amok sometimes... Like a real Dane.

Apparently Damien played a new song called "Colour Me In" at same Tina Dickow's wedding this past month. This was mentioned in a playlist article in the free Danish Music Magazine Gaffa.

She also cassssually mentions that she has a copy of Damien's forthcoming album, produced by her husband Helgi, which she listens to a lot.

She says he played the new song "Colour me in" in the church at their wedding, and that she listens to it to remind herself of that big moment.
