i think the deal with the tickets is that radio 1 announces a date and place and anyone who wants tickets has to turn up and they're given out free, on a separate day to the actual event...i could be totally wrong though!

RAZORLIGHT, THE MUSIC and LOSTPROPHETS are amongst the bands confirmed for RADIO 1’s ONE BIG WEEKEND in BIRMINGHAM. The event takes place on September 18-19 in Perry Park, Birmingham and for the first time has expanded to include a second stage. The free event will take place across two days, the first featuring dance and Sunday given over to live artists and bands. The Saturday line up runs: Main Stage Tiesto Fatboy Slim Deep Dish Judge Jules Dave Pearce Steve Lawler Nic Fanciulli Second Stage Darren Emerson Xpress 2 Yousef David Guetta Groove Armada Live Behrouz Mylo live Mutiny live Josh ‘Rinse’ Roberts The Sunday line-up runs: Main Stage Joss Stone Razorlight Lostprophets Goldie Lookin’ Chain Damien Rice Natasha Bedingfield and Estelle Broken Dolls Second Stage The Music Kasabian 22-20’s 13 Senses The Departure Skinnyman Exist 12,000 tickets will be available for each day. The station will host two special ticket giveaways on Saturday September 11 for the dance day and Sunday September 12 for the bands day at Millennium Point, Birmingham. The ticket office opens at 12noon on each day and will close once all the tickets are gone.

Thanks for the info Building. I wonder how long the queues will be for tickets! Hmmm- Will they allocate one ticket per person in the line, or can I also get a few for friends and other Eskimos? |

i really wanted to go to this, because i discovered damo really late i think he's done most of his tours in the east midlands and being from leicester i thought it was a good opportunity, but i totally missed the day the tickets were bein given away as my gf is goin uni so that's on my mind at the mo, so hope you all enjoy and think of me still not bein able to see damo live
