Default Tribeca Details

I did a little research in anticipation of being able to go. I read the headline on the main page and I literally jumped out of the chair. I was planning on going to the festival anyway, and seeing damo for a second time in less than a year. I was feeling like the luckiest man around. However...

Access to the ASACP music lounge is available to select pass holders only. The two said passes cost either 1000 or 500, and the latter of the two is sold out. Therefore, i will not be going, unless good ole damo himself so graciously reads this and personally invites me.

It was a brief moment of glory, and it was sweet while it lasted, but the actual realization that damo will be a half hour away and i will not be there is a much more substantial feeling than the essense of seeing him live.

...Perhaps i could email him, or if emmett could provide me with a cellular number i could plead my case

AAARRRGHHHHHGHGHH!!

This is torture! I don't have 1000 dollars! GRawr. If you get Damien's cell phone number put in a good word for me, too.

Argh...oh well, I don't think my mum would allow me to fly to New york from California....*sigh*....

Im not sure how blocked off it is...a friend of mine was doing research for me because he knows how big a fan I am and he found something that said the ASAPC music lounge is a place where producers and filmmakers can congregate, yadda yadda yadda...so its gonna be some pompous middleaged men talking to some starving filmmakers and not listening to his music. Not to stereotype or anything. haha.

The festival all-access pass thingy is 1,000... you can't buy tickets for the gig on it's own...

its not a music festival. the tribeca film festival is a renowned festival of all types of films. There are red carpet deal, lots of media, lots of bigwigs, its covered on all kinds of news stations. Needless to say, its very upscale. They decided to get even more trendy by adding a few hours of up and coming music stars and one of them is damo. You can get individual day passes to just see a movie for like 15 bucks or so. The 1000 one is for all kinds of access to pretigious events and parties.

I know he would love to pull some real fans in there, im just not sure if im gonna be able to get close enough, or it will be blocked off. Anyone up for a random trip to the city?

I guess it's an 'industry' pass...

$ 1000
Hudson Pass holders do not require a hard ticket to access regular screenings and panels. To guarantee admittance you must be present at the venue 15 minutes prior to the events scheduled start time. Pass benefits include the following:
· All regular screenings.
· All panel discussions.
· Access for one to Hospitality Suite.
· Access for one to ASCAP Music Lounge.
· Official Festival Catalogue.
· This pass is non-transferable and requires a photo.

But THESE might be worth a try (not sure they are for the Music lounge):

SAME-DAY SALES
Same-day ticket sales are CASH ONLY and are purchasable based on availability at corresponding screening or panel venues beginning 30 minutes prior to the first screening or panel of the day.

DOOR SALES
Screenings and panels whose allotment of advance tickets is no longer available will be listed as “Door Sales.” Door Sales lines will form approximately 30 minutes prior to scheduled screening or panel times at the venue. Admission will begin approximately 15 minutes before program start time based on availability. CASH ONLY — no discounts apply and admission is not guaranteed.
