Default favourite live versions.

hi!

don't know if this topic has been posted previously, but this goes out to all the bootleg-lovers out there.

what are you favourite live versions of Damien's songs?

i know it's not easy to pick just one version, as we all know how Damien loves to change the arrangements, but any suggestions would be welcome!

here are some of my favourite (i'll probably add more later on):

9 Crimes - Wembley 6 October 2007
The Professor & La Fille Danse - Dresden 22 July 2007
Me, My Yoke & I - Denver 5 May (i know, horrible sound, but just the sound of that dark guitar sends chills down my spine)
Elephant - Other Voices 2006
I Remember/Bang Bang - Lowlands 17 August 2007
Cross-Eyed Bear - Olympia 5 July 2007

as you can see, the 2007 tour is my favourite tour as well!

^you mean the Eskimo > Don't come here anymore???

Boston has some of my ultimate favourites like the best Accidental Babies ever, the one that is like 10 min long and has a piano intro and a piano/cello outro... it also has the Me, My Yoke & I>What do you know about Love bit... an amazing Is That It My Friend...

Another favourite on top of my head is Insane at the Greek in LA but might be biased on that one...

El Rey 06 has some amazing duets between D&L, Then Go, The Professor, Cold Water, I Remember,...

Fool at the Olympia in Paris is pretty stellar

there are many great versions of Elephant solo, agree on Norway, also Other Voices, that French TV show...

also, listened to the Me, My Yoke & I from Hove festival, Norway 29 June 2007. cool intro with Damien making some unusual chants. reminds me of the long intro from Castlebar 2007, which again reminds me of Jeff Buckley's Mojo Pin:

^ i´ve never seen this video... i love this version.
i quote one of the posters on youtube:

i don´t think i can choose favourite versions cause i don´t really care where the songs were played, he... but i´d definitely like to highlight 9 crimes at la trastienda - buenos aires (for obvious reasons, he), when he (and the guitar as his only "partner") discovered the sound of stomping his foot and used that as "an instrument"
