I listen to O occasionally and still love it, but exploring different music can never be seen as a bad thing i reckon.

Me neither! What can one do?

I guess, "9" was such a disappointment for me, so I lost interest in Damo. Hm.

I really, really enjoyed 9, actually. O was obviously superior, in my opinion, but 9 just hit different spots, for me.

Well, Jaysus, the man hands you the Sistine Chapel, the Pieta, and Moonlight Sonata, and yer bitchin. Go away, come back again. Sometimes I believe we, here in the here and now, want a Beatle album every 6 months and a Christmas hit to boot.....
The boyo ain't crankin out pop tunes.

Default in the studio...

From myspace....

In 2002, Damien Rice self-released his debut album 'o' in Ireland. Following the initial success in Ireland, he later teamed up with management in London and o went on to have a world-wide release in 2003 and sold over two million copies. Damien returned to the studio in 2006 and later that year saw the release of the second album '9'. Another extensive tour followed and '9' went on to sell a million copies worldwide. After a long hiatus, he is now back in the studio...
