I don't want to change you -wedding music
I have a Small low key wedding ceremony in a few weeks..
Thinking just one song to play when walking in the room... Would 'i dont want to change you' be suitable?? Please.. Any recommendation ( damien rice's) ? |

Honestly, i wouldn't recommend any damien rice song.
The best i can think of is 'i remember' and cut off the second part Apparently he played 'colour me in' at a friend's wedding, but it's such a sad song... Whatever you do, don't choose 'Prague' Last edited by carrroline; 11-27-2014 at 07:24 AM. |

I think TBD was like the most used song in weddings in Ireland... despite the "loathe you" part maybe even the Irish think he´s singing "did I say that I love you"
maybe Delicate would be ok for a wedding?

I'm getting married in 2 weeks and would love more than anything to a Damien Song at the reception. But I am realistic: none of his songs are wedding material .

Hahaha thanks guys!! I decided to go with 'I dont want to change you'
Well.. Its intro really does the irish wedding, i think.. it will only be played for first minute or so.. When we planned this initially, i darely and naive enough thought of contacting his agent to ask if damien could play at my wedding (as it is in ireland) Hahahaha |

I think "It takes a lot to know a man" is apropos. It strikes at the very essence of what marriage is supposed to be. Maybe cut it off at the what are you so afraid to lose part.

Wow now I realize how a great song choice for wedding it was, that Damien said himself IDWTCY was the only love song he's ever written
