id at vicar street
We got our tickets this morning for Damien and the ticket says over 18s id required do tickets normaly say id required? what do people think the chances are of people being id'd cos in england people at gigs never get id'd even if it says over 18's. Also how well would an English fake id go down?

gigs always say over 18's only, anywhere there is alcohol there must be an over 18 thingy.
a friend of a friend and their cousin and i were in an off licence trying to but alcohol. all over 18 all with id, except the 19 year old northen guy with northern id..he got refused to be served, despite him having id b/c "its not irish i cant accept that" so i got it with my id. just be careful

At the concerts I've gone to (big and small venues, like alpine valley and the barrymore), you have to have a wrist band to get alcohol. They check your id for those.

Ireland's not as flexible with gigs as the states is, over here if you're under eighteen you can't be in a building that serves alcohol after something like nine o clock. And in most places they really do enforce it. It even applies if a venue is just annexed to a bar, it's absolutely unnecessary if you ask me. But there you go.
