Hello from Florida

I admit, I've been haunting around for a little while, now I'm kinda commited.............but please be gentle.

My name is Amanda and I'm just takin my time through college and making it through with O in my purse when it's not in my CD Player.
One never knows when an opportunity will present itself to expose others to such great music. [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]
(But I AM kinda keeping it to myself a bit.............)
(Iwas silly about John Mayer before he got really popular so I'm kinda weary about "sharing" this stuff........ lol) (Did I just admit that? sheesh[img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img])

I come check other "fan's" thoughts and feelings ocassionally and don't feel alone........... Can I be an Eskimo Friend?

My first Damien Rice experience was in Birmingham, AL this past September and itmight be explained as almost orgasmic......... hehe
So, wanting another, I told the people I went with that I wanted to and we should take the trip to Atlanta, GA three days later. (Not as "intimate" a setting, but enjoyable nonetheless)

Now, I've gottickets to the New Orleans show in December and it's my reason not to let everyday unpleasantries get me down.
Why? Cause I'm going to be near and hear some great musicians soon, that's why!
Anyone else going? I guess I should post on the gigs forum..........

ANYWAY, I'll check back ocassionally and maybe even post...........

(girls included. I'm originally from Oklahoma and that's what we'd say there, but moving to FL exposed me to "ya'll" ........ lol I haven't broken that habit.....yet. In fact, I usually say "ya'll guys"lol........... but I digress)

Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome.......awwww lol

I'm gonna TRY to stay away until my finals are over, but we'll see how long that effort lasts...........
