VAN GOGH BLUE

are bathed in Van Gogh Blue.
In the consentrated hue
sits the reflective history
of the famous old story
of the man, the ear and all.
I see him in your face
and hear amazing grace
in everything you play
and say
and do.
You, Darling you
are bathed in Van Gogh Blue.

You, You and darling she
will make musical magical history
set in line the pretension
cast like stars across the aching world.
It begs for you
sits and listens with the soul
which knows not of its true reflective whole
you, darling you
are bathed in Van Gogh blue.

Hello All!

This was written last night in a half-asleep haze while staying up way passed my usual bed time to tape Damian and the band on "Last call with Carson Daily." Man oh man was it not a glorious performance or what? I was watching Damian sing with the light in the rafters above his head and the smoke passing through it like a ghost, it was eerie and beautiful and there, all at once I saw it...Damian has the essence of Van Gogh in his spirit... don't-chya think?

*Thanks to the keepers of this site for posting that they would be on, because If I had not read it here, i would have never known!

And you also have to understand that here in the states, we dont get thefrequency of shows and radio and performances that you do in Ireland. We hardly ever get to see anything on Damian at all! SO when I do see something on him, I get a bit more excited than you there, normally do. You lucky people you!
