Exclamation HELP! I need an accurate translation of the ESKIMO LYRICS

I'm getting the finnish part of the song, tattoo'ed across the left of my ribs.
As far as I know, Damo hasn't released the finish part in text form online from a genuine source, so I have a billion different lyrics sites telling me that their translation is correct!

I'm using google translate to check that they are correct, but I worry that google translate isn't exactly a decent base for checking stuff like that..

Can someone verify it's correct? I will love you forever

Kosketa minua - Touch me
Älä käsilläsi - Not with your hands
Vaan niin että tunnen sinut - But so that I feel you

Halaa minua - Hug me
Älä käsilläsi - Not with your hands
Mutta sielussasi - But within your soul

Minä kaipaan eskimo-ystävääni - I miss my eskimo friend

Cheers,
Al

LOL, sorry, Cille! I thought the original post was yours. Nevermind. I need more coffee this morning, apparently!

Cheers
So, what I got from that thread, was there isn't actually a definitive definition of the lyrics?
I'm dying to get it all tattoo'ed, but I won't do it unless I know for sure that it's 100%!
Cheers,
Alex

Well, the thing about translations is, you can translate word by word, which rarely makes much sense, or losely, but then it's not 100% accurate. I think, if you like the translation you yourself wrote above, use that! I'd definately say it sums up what the translator wrote in the link pretty well, and it's quite beautiful too.

When I sing Eskimo I always sing something like that (I gues, lifted off the eskimofriends lyric database?), because it makes much more sense to me singing something I understand, rather than a language I can't even pronounce properly (neither can Lisa+Damien btw ).

Much appreciated Cille
Sounds like the done deal then! I'll report back with some shots once it's done!
