I just want to know this. I saw the huge thread about homosexuality. I didn't read all of it, since it was so long, and after my surgery recently it's hard to stare at the screen for a long while at the moment. I am bi-sexual. I also really am offended when people use gay and fag as insults (I had a problem like that on my old boards, where they would use them constantly sometimes, and if I would ask not to, they would laugh at me, and told me to "deal with it"). Am I going to be ok on these boards? Will people use those terms offensively, will I get attacked for being bi? I really don't want to come on some new boards, and be in the middle of a fight about homosexuality. Can I stay in peace?

absolutely without a shadow of a doubt my friend, this is the friendliest board around, for the most part (and i am only talking about a few individuals who aren't frequently around) everyone is perfectly lovely here, you'll have no problems!

Who can say, Ranting Thespian... that's the problem with public boards, it's rarely the board and always the people that use them that cause the problems.

However, the majority of members here are interested in your taste in music... not your sexuality... to be frank (it's my middle name)... I'm not sure why you even need to tell people your preference... I haven't told people mine.

It's like daring people to insult you... what's the point? If you are so 'sensitive' about your sexuality being challenged, A) why talk about it and B) why dedicate a thread to it?

I don't remember a tick box when I registered for 'straight', 'bi', 'homosexual'! So if a thread is getting heated, stay out and let the dimwits insult each other, then you won't get caught in a 'war'.

So, whilst I wish you good luck in your bi-sexual adventures... I call you a 'Raving attention seeker'

i agree with the other eskimos, i haven't seen gay bashing (or bi bashing) here , so i think you won't have any problems in that aspect.

about the "deal with it" part, that's true and that's life. this world is full of idiots and there's always gonna be people that'll find a reson to insult you, weather your gay, straight, tall, short, white, black, pink, blue, etc. the key is not to let them bother you because it's not worth it.

i remember being a bit offended by someone's use of the word gay at some point, but it never got too heated. i definately think people around here are generally pretty tolerant so you'll be safe.
