Yeah, the Frames have made some bad career choices in the past but (and I know I'm gonna get slaughtered for this)I'd still rather go see them than Damo any day for probably the same reason Lisa prefers Glen to Damo:

When an audience member makes a joke, Glen laughs, butDamien walks off stage in a huff and refuses to play the blowers daughter(vicar st anyone?)

Nuff said.

Nothing wrong with preferring to go see the frames then going to see Damien. Its just a preference. Its not right, but its not wrong either.

Damn my intransigence, I really want to respond to that comment about Lisa preferring Glen to Damien, also the one about it being obvious because the Frames are supporting Damien in the states and because Glen was at the Bam gig (no offense intended but there are holes in the logic there that I could drive a truck through), being principled sucks.

We have no idea what Lisa thinks or what the story is between the three of them. It seems pretty harsh to comment on his ability to keep her or that she prefers Glen . Yea Damien is quite intense and seems to take things pretty seriously but that's what makes him such a brilliant songwriter and performer. I like the passion and intensity in him, I would imagine that most girls do.. One more thing, You really don't know if Lisa broke up with Damien, maybe it was the other way around or maybe they have always been just friends.. Strange, looks like the admin pulled it. They also delected an "Is Damien gay?" (the third to appear recently if anyone is counting) thread.

That one was pretty tame compared to other stuff on the board as well.

Like I said, strange.

Especially when he said 'Fake' WAS about Damien... then that it wasn't... he was possibly taking the piss out of the interviewer or being sarcastic... Until there's a ring on her finger the dream can live on!

Personally, I think it's been going on for much longer than we think (well you think!). If you'd care to look at my post entitled "I Kissed Lisa Hannigan!" which I ridiculously obviously draw attention to with pride, you'll see that this miraculous moment took place at a Frames gig wy back in May of 2003. Was Damo there? No, he was not. Was Glen there? Well yeah. Was Tomo there? Yes but you're arguing completely off-topic now. Were Bellx1 there? Yes, now f**k off home and stop gossiping you fool.

They're really clamping down on the bullsh*t posts now, a post from a guy claiming to have gone out with Lisa in school got deleted as well. About time, that board is a wasteland.Edited by: #Ian#

hello

I want to put the record straight here. As I know this " official
fact" to becompletly untrue, I spoke to the Frames publicist
who was in the room when Glen did this interview. Exacty what
he said was "yes" and then laughed and said, i'm only joking ,
which of course did not make the newspaper article . So , thats
the truth - i feel the need to put the record straight for both
Glen and Lisa to end this all right here and now.

Lisa seems so quiet and shy even on stage, so im pretty sure she wouldn't appreciate her private life discussed like that....so how about us eskimos acting like true eskimo friends leave Lisa be....??

Sooooooo disgusted with the Irish Independant right now. But I don't know if I should believe you either, you are after all some random punter on the web, but if you're telling the truth then good for you for doing the right thing.

You may want to post something similar on the official board.
