we heard tonight that you could see the northern lights tonight, so
myself, my sister and her boyfriend jumped into his car and drove up kerry pike/inishannon direction and lo and behold, i saw two flashes of green light jump up and back down behind a hill. it took ages to get up there, they were tiny and it lasted about two seconds but it was f**kin worth it..

I was gonna post a thread about this last night but got sidetracked. I get email from NASA (oooh) that lets you know when there are solar storms and sunspots etc. that cause the auroras to appear. http://spaceweather.com/ My daughter and I looked for them last night but didn't see a thing, tho her friend was out for two hours the night before watching them. It's a treat for us cos we're fairly south of seeing them most of the time. I've never seen them and it's always been one of my dreams. |
