I met one person from here at bonnaroo, and he was who he said he was. Also chatted via msn with someone from here and I'mpretty sure she is who she says she is [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]. If you're really looking to meet up with someone from the internet and are unsure about their identity, try to webcam chat. That should help tell the difference between a 67 year old man and a 17 year old girl. Be careful, but don't worry about it too much. I think the majority of people on internet forums are genuine, especially nowadays that internet forums are more commonly used.

i think that wheels is right to say stay paranoid, or cautious at least. Im sure everyone here is genuine but in other forums and maybe even here (ya never know) there cold be people who arent exactly who they say they are! Although it would be difficult not to be convinced when you chat with people all the time thru forum,msn and email, and also after seeing photos of them...

Thats a bit eerie actually come to think about it!
