i am a long-suffering phone user. whenever i get a new phone, i always
end up out of date really quickly. i am itching for a new phone. i had a nokia 3310 which served me well until the battery started to cop out, now i have a nokia 6something-something which is haunted. i really want a nokia camera phone, does anybody have suggestions/warnings?

hehe, do you want it?? seriously, sometimes when i get a text it won't let me into my inbox, outbox or write messages. three times now i've left it on a surface, i get a text, it vibrates, it falls onto the ground, turns off and when i turn it back on it needs to know the time and date again. sometimes i'm just writing a message or something and even when the battery is grand it just turns off for no reason! what type of phone do you have? see i would be happy with my trusty 3310 (they're indestructable...great phones!) but it's just that the battery cops out on me!

am i the only one left that doesnt have a cell phone? f**kin hate those things..... watches too. feel like im chained or something. but im strange in some ways. jason Leaving Minnesota for Colorado, I decide to make a stop at one of those rest areas on the side of the road. I go in the washroom. The first stall was taken so I went in the second stall. I just sat down when I hear a voice from the next stall... - "Hi there, how is it going?" Okay, I am not the type to strike conversations with strangers in washrooms on the side of the road. I didn't know what to say so finally I say: - "Not bad..." Then the voice says: - "So, what are you doing?" I am starting to find that a bit weird, but I say: - "Well, I'm going back to Colorado..." Then I hear the person say all flustered: - "Look I'll call you back, every time I ask you a question this idiot in the next stall keeps answering me."

no, jason. you're not the only one who doesn't have a cell phone - i don't have one either. i got one for christmas a few years ago, but i hardly ever used it so i got rid of it once the contract was up, it was so expensive. it was a nokia, never had any problems with it. it wasn't a camera phone, so idon't have any suggestions for you, livo. sometimes i wish i still had it, as it did come in handy a few times, like when i'd get stuck in traffic and need to call the office, or when i'm at the grocery store and can't remember if we need bread, etc. i need to get one of those emergency cell phones that take a calling card or whatever, so if i get lost or have an accident i can call someone. oh, and just a reminder to everyone who has a cell phone - do not talk on it when driving!! a lot of people think it doesn't effect their driving, but it really does, even the hands-free ones. if you have to use a cell phone while driving, pull off the road or at least wait until you are at a stop sign or deadlocked in traffic, then make it short!! the vast majority of the time when i see bad driving, it is a person who is yapping away on their cell phone. i'm sure they think they are being time efficient by driving and talking at the same time, but i've noticed that usually the people who are going the slowest are the ones talking on cell phones! they don't even realise it. if they'd just hang up and drive, they'd get to their destination quicker. |

once upon a time i had a siemens that my parent's gave me as a gift in my 16th birthday... everything was ok, of course if you don't count all those "card errors" all the time and some other problems..also all the time.. time passed by, i loved my disabled siemens and it loved me (we were a happy family - hey, that rhymes), although it sometimes gave me a present and turned off in the most inappropriate moment..but - nobody's perfect, you know... and 6 days ago, in 31st december it gave me last hi and one, only one f**king button refused to work - the one that accepted PIN code... since then (for 6 long days) my friend siemens is in coma and it doesn't seems that it will survive... my parents aren' thinking about buying a new one and i don't have enough money to buy it by myself,so I am again the girl you can never find... hope you had a patience to read my long and sad story... (but hey - now i can go to late parties and my mum just can't make me go home !)Edited by: zwaigzne |
