I missed the Kings in California in July (my flight landed as they took to hte stage of their last of 3 nights), and I'll miss them in Dublin cos I fly to Greece. I'm gutted I'll be missin them again.

I never really got into the Pixies...I think they're alrite, but in my opinion they've not a patch of the KOL. But the Kings would be the most played albums from a band, in my iPod at the moment.
My housemate loves the Pixies, and he's always trying to "convert" me... but sure... new tricks... old dog... teach... can't...

If anyone's interested, you can buy a professionally recorded, mixed and pressed copy of the pixies show in dublin here. It's a nice idea to do that kind of thing, i just wish more bands would pick up on it.
Did anyone else think that the Kings of Leon were about as much fun as home heart surgery?

oh my god pixies live are soooo amazing. To anyone who hasn't seen them you really really really must. Seriously it should be a top priority for you they are supreme live. aaaaa they were soo good!
