Default Tomo's a Yank?

read his backstory, what the hell hapened there? How did damien get him, meet him? Does anyone have any personal encounters with Tomo, or shane for that matter. the two most unreported members of the group.

Shane always looks very moody...(mooday).

Yeah, I spoke to him briefly a while ago in Toronto. He was with Lisa and she asked me and a friend where the nearest convenience store was. We told them and they thanked us. I remember him having a very not-Irish accent.

Shane was walking around by himself taking pictures of our campus. We smiled at him and he smiled back. Damien came out later and played his guitar on the curb so we listened for a bit and took pictures. As if that wasn't enough, we caught Glen from the The Frames (who I adore) coming out of their tour bus and we chatted for some time. I told him that I had lectures in the building they were about to play in and he said, "That gives me an idea!" I didn't ask what it was but they did play 'Red Chord' at the end of the night with everyone and that has the line about the university so I'm thinking it was that....but that's really just a guess.

Sorry, that was a long answer!

i think it was when damien was first coming to the US, or something...they met up at a gig and just stayed together. i know how damien and vyv met, tho. not shane. he's sort of the Ringo Starr of the band....not enough attention.

why has no-one ever drawn a characterture of the band?
Like the beatles always got? http://www.solarnavigator.net/music/...es_cartoon.jpg

so, is shane moody then in 'real' life?

I've met Tomo a couple of times, very nice man. Remembered my name 8 months after I first met him.

tomo is cool, he seems to look at people in the audience a lot while he plays - makes it feel very personal, like he's really playing for you - made me kinda shy

Yeah if I am not mistaken I think Tomo (or Tom Osander) use to play for a band called God Street Wine, who are from NYC. I'm not sure he and Damien met but it has been a great collaberation ever since

i think most of the time shane looks bored or alternately, smirking. he never seems like he's really into the music to me...

no tomo crush here either, but he's a great drummer and he really gets into it, especially on the rockier tunes. he seems to particularly enjoy playing woman like a man i've noticed..

i'd like to mention here that i (personally) don't particularly like being called a yank

I apologise. Ive realised now it comes originally from a phrase that means 'stupid'. Ignorant of me and nationalist.
