lol, i know, and don't worry i do, we had a sub last week and she was lovely, all our music class was very respectful, its those eejit third years that gave her a hard time. it can be frustrating when teachers expect u to act like adults and treat u like children though, ah well, im sure ur not like that [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

what i do is give a class the chance to act like adults , but if its thrown in my face then i treat them like children......

teacher student relationships are weird, they're such a huge part of your life yet they know nothing about you, and it's unacceptable if the gap is bridged. our particular sub had given me a piano lesson a few weeks before so i knew her first name and we had chatted a bit about music, but when she becameour teacher of course couldnt ask her about bands and stuff [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]kind of annoying, they're not much older than us....

i have to say the level of immaturity and downright nastiness among some students shocked me.....there are always several complete w**kers in every class with few exceptions who are just whingeing attention seekers acting at least 6 years too young for their age.....its all fine and well to blame teachers for the problem - and many arent perfect either - but it is a 2 way street, and many of the problems students have would be a lot less if the copped themselves on a bit...sorry for the rant, but i've had a rough day...being threatened by little pricks will do that to you.....
