Whatever happened to......?

This may be re-hashed, but....

We all know that Damien is shooting for an early 2005 release for the new album. But whatever happened to all the talk of him making two new albums? Remember? There were words flying around that he was going to make one album of the more "Louder/angrier" Damien, and a release of a "quieter side" of damien.

Whatever happened to this talk?

i heard the same exact thing. I read he had enough songs to fill up two albums and actually had them recorded already..

That's right. That's the part I forgot. That he already had them recorded. But I was hearing this in march. I wonder if it was all a fabricated rumor. If he had them recorded then......we wouldn't be waiting this long for a new LP.

The account of this that I remember came from someone here who spoke to Damien himself. I think it's true that he said he has the next two albums written, though maybe not recorded ...

hmmm, if its all about money to him, he needs a better management team. i believe it was all about the money when he was in the last band, and that is basically why he left. not exactly, but pushing for hits is basically 'all about the money'

The album delay, that is from this spring to next year, was dictated by his record company. And while Damien said he had two albums, I figured we'll get to hear those within the next eight years without him ever having to write another song [img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

Well I'm that he could have put them out in Ireland on DRM if he wanted, depends on what his contract with the distributors says.

He said that in an interview. Originally he wanted the new album to come out this spring, but, he said, his record company wanted him to wait until fall.
