ne1 ere from ireland remember "ur a star!" the talent programme from last year
neway my "friend" he'z really my boyfriend but d feckin tv ppl wnt let him sey it![img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img] neway my "friend" has gotten into d last 8 in d longford auditions and he'z gonna b on da telly!!!!! so am i (in d backround of course!) but he'z singin Cannonball in d tv vote so he needs good lovely gorgeous kind wonderful eskimofriends like yourselves to vote 4 him!!!!

It's probably because texting is barely used at all in the US, Kristine. It's part of daily life in Europe. Doesn't really have anything to do with the internet, it comes from using your cell phone for text messaging.

I also find it harder to read, but I suspect it's because I'm not used to it.

Though "mite not b on" makes me feel more tempted to call the exterminator than a TV station. [img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

I get teased the other way around, I try and write proper english texts, it doesn't take too long cos I use predictive input, you just get the odd random word when I don't notice it's put something strange in hehe

My cousin went to auditions in Letterkenny, I think!

He was in Limerick doing something for it aswell!
