Default I've done a little home recording of a new song...

The recording is really buzzy and dodgy, but i've popped the song up on myspace for a bit - I'd appreciate some feedback

It's called The Swallow.

www.myspace.com/hollierogersonline

Again, sorry bout the buzzing x

hehe thanks D, and i have since managed to get rid of the buzz which is why you couldn't hear it

also, i've since added some bass to the instrumental which i think improves it a bit... it's one of those ones that i'm just not sure about! Do you think i should put it on the album?

xx

I like it. Got me some small goose-bumps, too.

Your voice is almost as voluminous as Annie Lennox (well slightly).

Very nice Nine. You're doing just fine. It'll be fun watching you age well like a good wine.

Keep your nose to the grindstone.

everything u do should be on the album! hehe.. but then again, u can save some for the live performances and be like.. OMG UNRELEASED SONG! YEAAH! lol... i think it's a great last track song tho.. i like the long guitar outro... relaxing and peaceful. it also reminds me of how damo has been ending his albums with a long outro of just mellow/quiet music w/ no lyrics. (btw.. by saying it's a good last track, i'm not saying it's bad or nothing, it's great! i'm not saying anything negative about it hehe...) but then again i don't know what else is on the track and if you have to bump it or what not..

that gives me an idea.. do a special pre-release sale of your CD for the eskimos!! haha

edit: i haven't stopped listening to your music today.. i've had your myspace page open all day and i just keep listening to them.. and every time i hear swallow i'm liking it more and more

thank you my sweeties

after much careful thought... i think i will put it on. I don't really think it's necessarily the 'right' recording if you see what i mean - but i know i'll regret it if i don't.

Appreciate your input muchly!

As for live tracks and unreleased stuff david - don't you worry, there's plenty!

hehe...

wow you've been listening all day! Awesome, bumping my play counts!! thanks a lot guys. I know i say it lots but i really really do appreciate your support and comments.

xxxx
