rootless tree abbey road

just wondering would anyone have a rough idea of the piano music i.e. just the key and a few basic chords..
for the version of rootless tree that damo plays in the abbey road version...

I'm not a piano-player but from playing along with the guitar it sounds like Am7, F(add9), C, G .. then pre-chorus ('..leans on me'): Dm, F, G..

So the key would be C I guess..

In the Cd virsion the tuning is G#-C#-F#-B-Eb-G#
I tried to find it on my guitar and I think that this is: A-D-G-C-E-A
