Can't you connect the HDD to a computer? If you could make the signal go through the video card, I think you could record it with a program video screen capture program...

Anyone interested in trading something for a (original) copy of Juniper's weatherman CD- The 3 track Rage/little sister/weatherman- I suppose this is more a collector's CD than one to listen to, as we all have these songs I suppose, and their Mediocre anyways. But this Cd isn't a cheap one I don't think. |

From the basement is coming to the United States. Taken from Pitchfork.com.
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/articl...ide-television ------- Nigel Godrich Music Show Hits Stateside Television Guests include: Thom Yorke, Sonic Youth, White Stripes, PJ Harvey, Beck, Jarvis, SFA, Shins "From the Basement" to your living room, the music variety show from Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich sure has been making strides. For starters, it's no longer merely an interweb entity. When we last touched base with Godrich-- just before the first episode's web premiere in December 2006-- he expressed unease at the possibility of licensing his series to television. As Godrich said then, "They were quite prepared to put it out on TV if we would take a sponsor, like a mobile phone company or whatnot, and I was just like, 'No ****ing way, that's just not the point at all.' The idea is to be independent-- to have no agenda...it's got to be neutral." Now it seems Godrich has found a viable solution (or eased his stance some), as "From the Basement" is presently airing on the UK's Sky Arts network as part of its Centre Stage programming. What's more, "Basement" will grace U.S. television screens (high definition ones, anyway) beginning February 22 on 24-hour music network Rave HD. Stateside audiences will be treated to the initial six episodes, featuring heaps upon heaps of ace musical talent. Among the guests: Thom Yorke, the Shins, the White Stripes, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, Beck, Jarvis Cocker (pictured), José González, Jamie Lidell, Super Furry Animals, Albert Hammond, Jr. (The Strokes), Eels, Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy), Autolux, Free Blood, Envelopes, and Architecture in Helsinki. Check the complete U.S. schedule below. "From the Basement": Show 1 (February 22, 2008): The White Stripes The Shins Neil Hannon Show 2 (February 29, 2008): Thom Yorke Albert Hammond, Jr. Envelopes Show 3 (March 7, 2008): Beck Jarvis Cocker Jamie Lidell Show 4 (March 14, 2008): Sonic Youth José González Laura Marling Show 5 (March 21, 2008): PJ Harvey Super Furry Animals Free Blood Operator Please Show 6 (March 28, 2008): Damien Rice Eels Autolux Architecture in Helsinki

i´m pretty sure they were four:
- delicate (on guitar) - rootless tree (on piano... 10 points) - 9 crimes (on piano... 11 point!!) - the blower´s daughter (on guitar) but i could be wrong... i think i´ll watch the video again (like if it´d be a sacrifice, lol).

I'd choose 9 crimes and Delicate. I prefer other versions of Rootless Tree on piano

I've only been a fan for about 6 months so seeing these on youtube was new to me. I have these songs on my MP3 player and loved them, but the emotion in the video just ripped me apart. Rootless tree and 9 crimes are painful but beautiful to watch. Words cannot describe... I wonder if those that criticize Damien or don't like his music really have a soul. Anyone know when from the basement was recorded? I've got to order the dvd.

if you don't, you should get Youtube Downloader software. it's free. i use it to download Youtube videos and i put them on a dvd or my media player. And with alot of things done in HD now, the files play amazingly on a flat screen. Allows you to download any video from youtube. great software!
