dont know if this should be in the 'other music' forum but my heart told me to post here, i hope this is ok.. on the new snow patrol single, yes, yes, they are releasing another song from open your eyes, one of the three formats, yes yes, three formats, has the aforementioned duet with gary and lisa from a snowpatrol gig in berlin...

its out next week i think i found a link to it at a file sharing site called mediafire, (other file sharing site are available) on the internet "somewhere" .. perhaps you might too ..
or you can buy it and help those poor irish folks make a living ..

in all the charading, i forgot to express my opinion on it... well a actually prefer martha wainwright doing it, cant really make out lisa apart from in the chorus, and she does it lovely, as expected.. he doesnt really sound into it though which is a shame... anyway if you have a look around you might run into it .. or hear it on the radio, etc ..

Where did you find it?

The new Snow Patrol single is not from Eyes Open. It's a song called Signal Fire off the Spiderman 3 soundtrack. And according to the band's official site the b-side is a remix of Wow (http://www.snowpatrol.com/music/singles.aspx?pid=151). Found the same info at sirendisc.com

I would imagine that Shut Your Eyes was released as a single overseas, but not in North America... (hence the reason it's listed as an import from both amazon.com and amazon.ca?)

Just listened to it, it's quite nice although we don't get to hear much of Lisa as an individual as the song has no solo singing in it
