hey. i'm getting a lot of spam e-mails today (about 250 so far) so if i haven't replied to any emails that anyone has sent me then that's the reason, and i'm sorry.

if anyone knows of any way to stop the madness then let me know!! thanks!!

Don't shut down the email, Emmett. it will blow over.

It's a new worm, W32.Novarg.A@mm,that started propagating like crazy yesterday and brought quite a few corporate networks to a standstill.

Everybody make sure to not open any attachments (including *.zip files [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]- nasty bugger - even if they look like they come from someone you might know.

Don't worry about emails claiming your's contained a virus and were blocked. (Those are the worm's working on someone else's machine.)

Detailed information and updated virus definitions are available here (or at your favorite virus vendor).

junk mail. just like the junk mail that comes in the post only there is more of it.

Yeah, loucha... with some email providers, like MSN or Hotmail, you can set up a "Junk Mail Folder" where you can set it up so only email from people you know enteres your inbox and the rest just goes to the junk mail folder and you can toss the whole thing...
