hi folks, i thought since there are a lot of new americans here and damo seems to have found a new little home for himself(he'll be back and stay back, i swear guys, someday...) i'd say on behalf of me, i guess, happy independance day, 4th of july, oh say can you see and what not. but i ask one question; who gets to see him next week ey? it sure as hell wont be the americans! hah we win this round and to make sure we win the next lets bring a big rock knock him out and bring him home. so hah, you're all screwed now!!!!!!!!!!!

well, im a new member and have been reading the posts and have noticed a lot of "america" bashing because damien is becoming more known here. Question? does it really matter, isn't the whole point, (damien's goal, the goal of music in general) to reach people.(whether you live in "ireland" and have known about him for years or if you live in "america" and have just been introduced to his music. well i say get over it. his music is traveling and if you were really atrue fan you would be happy that he is getting credit beyond his home, share and enjoy his success. otherwise i love the site and am so glad i have been introduced to the music of mr.Damien Rice
