Band name?

Saw Damien (solo) in Bend Oregon, USA, in May and he said he often performs with his band. Does his band have a name other than "Damien Rice"?

hi,

as far as i know they dont have another name, they all come under the name Damien Rice.

if you thought he was great solo you should hear him live with Lisa, Tomo and Vivyene. its just wow

I presume its the same as any band that perform under the lead singersname etc. Like Dave Mathews Band for example. But i've often wondered myself what the story is with those type of groups. Does that make the other band members expendable??? Not saying thats the case with Lisa and the gang cos we all know they're not. But how does that work in terms of money, contracts, and even fame and popularity (in terms of the other members)??........stop me if im talking cr*p!!<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley4.gif">

thats true.. i really hate the way people who play bass dont get remember even tho a bass player really contributes alot to the music and without them they would sound half as good...plus he is a really nice guy!

well i met damien at the music city gig and he was really nice then also met lisa and got a kiss!!... met shane at a gig in the lobby and met tomo through a friend cos she was going out with him and i went to a play in bray she was in and got introduced and vyvienne actually came to see my play cos the guy who was playing opposite me was going out with her and i got chatting to her after... pretty mad actually...
