Good luck to Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova at the Oscars tonight! They are nominated in the best original song category for their song “Falling Slowly”, which they will perform at the event.
Glen Hansard is a wonderful Irish singer songwriter and friend of Damien’s. For Damien’s first solo tour of Ireland he opened for Glen’s band the Frames and you may have seen Glen and Marketa open for Damien on recent tours as The Swell Season. Their performance at the Oscars ceremony tonight will be introduced by Irish actor Colin Farrell.
